In module five, we will explore best practices regarding the planning and managing of construction equipment. It covers areas such as equipment productivity and maintenance management.

In module six, we will familiarise with the different types of construction materials, with step-by-step guidance on the planning and control of materials. It covers quality specification and other key topics.

In module seven, we will learn the basics of stock control and how just-in-time deliveries affect the supply chain. It covers storage function, how to manage excessive stock, and communications.

In module eight, we will explore the key characteristics of supply chain management, as well as familiarise with the guidelines for coordinating suppliersand subcontractors. We’ll also learn the 5 principles of Lean.

In module nine, we’ll learn how to conduct a preliminary site investigation and explore the fundamentals of site organisation. It covers building types, factors affecting site exploration, as well as location and site selection criteria. 

In module ten, we will explore ways in which to improve construction vendor management, taking a look at the supplier and vendor registration proess, vendor development, and other key topics.
