Security Risk and Fraud Prevention

In this introductory module, we’ll explore the concept of risk management, how it evolved, and what it does. We’ll understand the objectives and principles of risk management as well as the policies and strategies. 

In module two, we’ll deepen our understanding of different types of risk. We’ll understand the nature of risk and specially focus on financial risks for an organisation. 

In this module, we’ll explore the risk management process. We’ll learn about the stages of risk management, which include identification, analysis, evaluation and treatment of risks. Also, monitoring and review of the risk management process will be covered in this module. 

In module four, we will learn about the basic security management organisation structure, deepening our knowledge of organisation principles and the changing role of modern security.

In module five, we will be trained in how to conduct a security risk assessment and perform a security audit step-by-step. It also provides essential information on executive and employee protection, and the use of close protection.

In module six, we will explore the use of information security and the functions of physical security protection. It covers key topics such as safeguards, locks and key systems, and response to risk.

In module seven, we will broaden our understanding of cyber security and fraud protection, taking a look at the characteristics of fraud and fraud prevention strategies.

In module eight, we will deepen our knowledge of security investigations and threat awareness. It covers how to detect threats in modern business and evidence collection.

In this final module, we will complete the course by exploring the laws and regulations surrounding security management, taking an in-depth look at the principles of the Data Protection Act and The General Data Protection Regulation.
