In module seven, we will learn what causes brain injuries and how an injury to the brain affects brain function. It explores the different types of brain injuries and their characteristics.

In module eight, we will explore some common developmental disorders and conditions, taking an in-depth look at their causes and impact on health.

In module nine, we will deepen our knowledge of the different types of physical disabilities and how they impact everyday life. We will also look at the causes and treatment of these disabilities.

In module ten, we will look at how the use of creative activities in occupational therapy can speed up the healing process and engage clients.

In module eleven, we will develop a range of management and leadership skills that are essential to working effectively in the field of occupational therapy, counselling, and other therapies. 

In module tweleve, we will learn some strategies and techniques for building confidence and self-esteem in clients. It includes practical exercises that can be applied to a wide range of therapeutic roles.

In module thirteen, we will broaden our knowledge of depression and its impact on mental health, exploring the different ways in which to overcome these overwhelming emotions and stay in control of our feelings.

In module fifteen, we will look at the personal qualities that are required to work in the field of occupational therapy and other-related therapies. It also explores academic development and the qualifications required to work in this industry.

In module sixteen, we will explore some related professions in this field and the requirements and opportunities to fast track your career in a similar role.

In module seventeen, we will explore the idea of the human need for occupation, and the human needs that are essential for survival. 

In module eighteen, we will learn how occupational therapy can improve health and wellbeing, both physically and mentally. It introduces the different ways that occupational therapy can help individuals to maintain a standard of living.

In module nineteen, we will take a look at some effective coping strategies and techniques that therapists use to help clients with stress management. It includes methods that can be applied in every area of life.

In module twenty, we will take an in-depth look at Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs as a key theory of occupational therapy. It covers the five-tier model of the different levels of human needs.  

In this final module, we will process the key information that we have learnt throughout this training course and how we can apply our knowledge in a real-world context.
