In this introductory module, we will deepen our understanding of the concept of coaching and the responsibilities, qualities and skills of a coach/mentor. It also covers the obstacles, traps and challenges in coaching.
In module two, we will familiarise with the coaching and mentoring process, learning about the fundamental differences between coaching and mentoring, as well as techniques for overcoming barriers when coaching clients.
In module three, we will explore the code of ethics in coaching and mentoring, including coaching terminology, how to work with clients, and the role of the International Coaching Federation.
In module four, we will gain an in-depth understanding of different coaching models, including the GROW model, developing our goal-setting and motivational skills.
In module five, we will sharpen our communication skills and learn how to establish a positive coaching/client relationship. It includes guidance on how to provide constructive feedback, enhance your body language and develop your active listening skills.
In module six, we will gain a range of transferable skills needed to be a successful coach or mentor, including time management, stress management, assertiveness, and negotiation.
In module seven, we will gain essential management skills needed to run a successful coaching or mentoring business, such as motivating, leading, delegation and problem-solving.
In this final module, we will gain a set of functional skills needed to manage a coaching service efficiently, including sales skills, sales management, marketing management, financial management and production management.
