Epidemic and Pandemic Diseases (Risks, Impacts, and Mitigation)

In module eight, we will take a look at the origin and history of the Nipah Virus, its signs & symptoms, treatment and diagnosis process.

In module nine, we will develop our knowledge and understanding of smallpox, signs and symptoms, prevention and treatment.

In module ten, we will learn about the causes and symptoms of viral meningitis, how it spreads, diagnosis, treatment & prevention.

In module eleven, we will gain a deeper understanding of the history and origin of the Ebola virus, the transmission process, signs and symptoms.

In module twelve, we will explore the symptoms and treatment of Zika virus and how the Zika virus is tested and transmitted.

In module thirteen, we will learn about plague outbreaks, including some key facts and the WHO’s response to the plague.

In module fourteen, we will explore some of the milder threats to human beings such as Yellow Fever, the Hendra virus, and Dengue.
