In module one, we will take a look at the key features of the construction industry, covering key topics such as productivity and labour quality. It also provides an insight into the role of the Construction Supervisor.

In module two, we will learn about the fundamental phases in the construction project lifecycle, from planning to execution. It also discusses the principles of project management and portfolio management.

In module three, we will take a look at project cost estimation, exploring the types of cost estimates, cash flow calculation and the economic analysis of project cost.

In module four, we will learn how to carry out a site investigation and organise a building site, covering topics such as building types, environmental impact, location and site location.

In module five, we will gain a range of site management skills, taking an in-depth look at site boundaries and logistics, waste disposal procedures, water and electricity services, site security, and other fundamental topics.

In module six, we will learn how to plan and manage construction site equipment, with guidance on equipment suppliers, cost and planning, equipment maintenance, and servicing.

In module seven, we will learn about the different types of construction materials, as well as the process for purchasing materials and equipment, inventory control, quality specification, and storage and handling best practice. 

In module eight, we will learn about vendor management, exploring its key features. It provides guidance on how to choose the right source,  identify the right source of supply, vendor registration and development.

In module nine, we will deepen our understanding of construction procurement, exploring principles and practices, life cycle procurement analysis, change management, and more.

In module ten, we will explore the different stages of stock control, taking a look at storage function. It also discusses how just-in-time delivery affects the supply chain, and how to manage excessive stock and stock communications.

In module eleven, we will explore the principles of supply chain management, as well as its characteristics. It provides training on the coordination of suppliers and subcontractors, as well as essential information on Lean construction.

In module twelve, we will explore the main participators in the construction industry, including the different types of landowners, private developers, planners, agents, building contractors, stakeholders, and the project design and development team.

In module thirteen, we will take an in-depth look at customer expectations and learn the definition of quality. It covers key topics such as the threshold for construction quality, and how to implement a construction project quality plan.

In module fourteen, we will deepen our understanding of the essential elements of a contract and the types of construction contracts. It also goes into detail about subcontracts and insurance contracts.

In module fifteen, we will explore the key principles of human resources management, exploring the roles and functions in human resource. It covers the planning of manpower construction companies, salary and discipline, selection and placement.

In module sixteen, we will familiarise with different approaches to risk and value management, taking a look at the risk management process and risk management techniques.

In module seventeen, we will learn about the types of on-site communication, from daily logs, reports and construction diaries, to meeting management and communications technologies.

In module eighteen, we will learn about health and safety compliance in the construction industry, covering the legal responsibilities of employers and employees, safety management best practice, and financial cost of injuries and accidents.
