In module one, we’ll understand the importance of health in workplace safety and the responsibilities of employers and employees regarding safety at work. Also, we’ll gain insight into different laws and regulations related to workplace safety. 

In module two, we’ll learn about the core elements of Health and Safety Officer and procedures that can be taken to ensure optimum safety at work. 

In module three,  we will learn about conducting a risk assessment and explore some of the common risks related to health & safety at work. 

In module four, we’ll explore different accidents in workplaces and the risk of ill health at work. 

In module five, we’ll focus on incident management. We’ll explore different types of incidents including fire, electrical and water incidents.  Also, we’ll learn about the roles and responsibilities of a worker during an incident. 

In module six, we’ll learn about the dangers related to electricity, gas, and fire. Also, we’ll learn the importance of safety while handling hazardous substances and equipment. 

In module seven, we’ll learn about effective measures to avoid fire hazards and ensure fire safety at work, which includes fire safety arrangements, use of fire extinguishers, fire escape routes, and many more. 

In module eight, we’ll explore the fire evacuation procedures and personal emergency evacuation plans. 

In module nine, we’ll learn about fire prevention, fire detection, and warning systems, and the roles of a fire warden in emergency situations. 

In module ten, we’ll learn about manual handling hazards and common injuries related to such works. Also, the reporting and prevention measures of such injuries will be covered, 

In module eleven, we’ll deepen our knowledge of different risks related to manual handling and how to control them to ensure a safer environment. 

In module 12, we’ll explore different techniques of safe lifting which are intended to reduce and avoid risks in manual handling. 

In module thirteen, we’ll learn about working at height. We’ll learn about the laws and regulations (WAHR 2005) and the duties of employers and employees to maintain while working at height. 

In module fourteen, we’ll explore different equipment used in working at height. Also, we’ll learn about PPE and inspection of equipment to maintain them in the right condition and avoid risks. 

In module fifteen, we’ll deepen our understanding of confined spaces and what laws are in place to ensure safety in such working settings. 

In module sixteen, we’ll learn about different risk control measures for working in confined spaces, which includes, The role of designers, manufacturers, and suppliers, provision of special tools and lighting, accessibility, ventilation, rescue harnesses, and many more. 

In module seventeen, we’ll broaden our understanding of different emergency situations in confined spaces and the procedures to tackle such situations. 

In module eighteen, we’ll explore the best safety practices to follow in different work settings to make the workplace safer for all. 

In module nineteen, we’ll understand the risks and hazards related to different work equipment and how to avoid those hazards. 

In module twenty, we will deepen our understanding of some other health & safety hazards at work, such as slips and trips and noise control.

In module twenty one, we’ll learn the basic first aid techniques for workplaces which are essential to minimise the risks of accidents and save lives in emergency situations. 

In module twenty-two, we’ll learn how to deal with minor injuries at the workplace, which include abdominal trauma, allergic reactions, burns and scalds, crush injuries, insect bites and rashes, and many more. 

In module twenty-three, we’ll learn about emergency situations and when to call for emergency service. 

In module twenty-four, we’ll learn about different health problems and complexities that can be resulted from hazardous substances in workplaces

In module twenty-five, we’ll broaden our understanding of hazardous substances and be able to identify the most common hazardous substances in workplaces. 

In module twenty-six, we’ll learn about the principles of good control practices and monitoring measures of safety management plans in the workplace.
